The Development & Special Events intern will participate in a wide variety of the Development department’s day-to-day activities. Duties can include drafting funding proposals and reports, crafting letters to members and donors, conducting research on prospective funding sources, organizing direct mailings, and helping to maintain the membership database. The intern will also support staff working on special events, such as the museum gala and exhibition previews. Candidates should have computer and administrative skills, and possess a strong attention to detail. This internship is appropriate for undergraduate and graduate students from the following majors and related disciplines: Art and Art History, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Administration and Museum Studies.
