Established by Rosa Lowinger, RLA Conservation, Inc. specializes in the conservation and care of sculpture, decorative arts, monuments, artifacts, and historic architecture. Drawing on the expertise of formally educated conservators, technicians and fabricators, we design interventions to best meet the needs of artworks and built heritage in the care of museums, public agencies, corporate entities, and private collectors.
 
Our practice balances the need to stabilize and restore with deep respect for the original materials and an artist’s or architect’s intent. Combining over 30 years of experience conserving contemporary art, outdoor sculpture, and mid-century modern architecture with current knowledge of materials and techniques, our team is equipped to address the ever-evolving needs of contemporary material culture.
 
With studios in Los Angeles, CA and Miami, FL, our firm is particularly skilled in addressing the special needs of collections and buildings located in tropical, marine, and desert climates. We work throughout the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, and are able to conduct business in English, Spanish, French, and Italian. RLA Conservation is a certified woman- and Latino-owned practice.
